An Introduction to Legal Project Management (LPM)
Carla Landry will be presenting “An Introduction to Legal Project Management” hosted by ALA Gateway.
Program Description: What does it mean to apply Legal Project Management (LPM) techniques to a matter from start to finish? In this program, we’ll share our LPM framework, facilitate an exercise illustrating project management in action, and help participants understand how using LPM tools and processes can enhance communication with clients, enable effective scoping of work, and support managing the matter to budget.
During the program, participants will:
- Receive an introduction to the fundamentals of LPM
- Learn the phases of LPM
- Understand how to effectively manage matters
- Determine how tools and other resources can support LPM efforts
