“I teach and inspire legal professionals to be more effective leaders of practice groups, teams or legal matters – in ways that improve client satisfaction, team engagement and overall performance.”

Susan Raridon Lambreth, a Co-Founding Principal at LawVision, is nationally recognized as one of the top legal project management, practice group management and law firm leadership consultants in the global arena.

With more than 25 years of proven success as a consultant to the legal profession, Susan is no newcomer to legal project management and practice group management. As a leading provider of LPM and practice leader training, she has written nine books in these areas. When AmLaw 200 firms want to improve their practice group structures or train practice group leaders, roughly half of these top firms have enlisted Susan to help. She has also trained +8,000 legal professionals in legal project management and she was also chosen in 2019 to receive the first-ever TVPI “LPM Educator of the Year” award.

Susan understands the leadership and strategic issues that law firms and law departments will face in the coming years. She consults with managing partners, practice group leaders, executive committees and business professionals about practice management, LPM and leadership. She has worked with many of the largest U.S. firms, including some 30 percent of the AmLaw100, to implement effective practice group management and train their practice group leaders.

As a consultant to the legal profession working with hundreds of firms across three decades, Susan is unique in her ability to understand law firm needs, assisted by her background both as a former practicing lawyer and as an MBA. Her ability to provide practical and strategic advice is what sets Susan apart. Further, she is motivated by personal values and the servant-leader mindset that has inspired her throughout the years. These values inform her career and undergird her interaction with clients.

As part of her contribution to LawVision, Susan chairs several successful conferences and roundtables bringing together top lawyers and law firm professionals from around the globe. Beyond LawVision, Susan is the Chair and Founder of the LPM Institute, a leading resource for educating law firms and law departments on implementing project management in their organizations. She continually shares her expertise, having delivered hundreds of speeches on LPM, practice management, strategy and the trends that affect law firms and legal departments.

Before co-founding LawVision, Susan was a partner with Hildebrandt Baker Robbins (formerly Hildebrandt International) for 20 years and before that she was a principal with Altman Weil.

Susan has helped scores of firms run more like a business thereby enhancing their performance. That’s not the only running she enjoys, however. Susan is an accomplished marathoner and competitive track runner for many decades. She resides in Brentwood, Tennessee, with her family and two beloved dogs.
